Hey There Friends, Followers + Clients!
Quick announcement about a new feature I’m running – Welcome to BOBAFIT. Twice monthly, I’ll be sharing fitness, exercise, diet, and wellness advice to help you look good, feel better, and live a healthier lifestyle.
Let’s kickoff the first BOBAFIT feature: Staying Fit While Getting Older
None of us is getting any younger. But getting older doesn’t mean you can’t stay fit. At every stage of your adult life, into your 70s, 80s, and beyond, you can support heart health, build muscle + maintain physical fitness with regular exercise.
Here are 3 strategies to help you stay fit in your “Golden Years!”
Consistent Cardio – Cardiovascular exercise is key to maintaining a healthy heart. Walk, jog, hike, swim, do Pilates – Anything to get your body moving and active at least 3 days a week.
Resistance Training – Whether lifting weights or doing resistance exercises like Pilates, strength training helps you build muscle, get stronger, and increase bone density, all of which are critical as you age.
Stretch Regularly – Muscle pain, joint stiffness + declining flexibility are all common as you age. A daily 5-minute stretching routine can help keep your body loose, limber, and pain-free.
Stay tuned for more healthful tools, tips + strategies from BOBAFIT.
